Build together. Grow together.

Amal Club is a community of Muslim builders in Brussels, Belgium: founders, developers, designers, creatives and students who grow in craft and deen together. We start with co-working Saturdays in Brussels. Membership opens soon: join the free waitlist to reserve your spot.

Bringing Muslim builders together to grow in craft and deen. Starting in Brussels, growing across Belgium and, in shā’ Allāh, throughout Europe.

01/The name

One sound, two words

أمل

amal

hope

عمل

ʿamal

work, deeds

Hope without work is a wish. Work without hope burns out. Amal Club is for both.

02/Why we gather

Building with purpose

A place for structure, knowledge and skill sharing, for work that does good and carries barakah.

Structure

We open with Qur’an and dhikr, set one clear intention, then work in long, protected blocks of deep focus, paused only for prayer on time. Structure is what turns intentions into habits, and habits into finished work.

Knowledge

Halaqas, Qur’an and learning about our deen sit right next to learning our craft. Both make us better at what we do.

Skill sharing

Members teach members. The designer helps the developer, the student helps the founder, and everyone leaves knowing a bit more.

Purpose & barakah

We want our work to do good: for our families, our community and the people it serves. Built with intention, it carries barakah.

03/Community

More than a desk

The Saturdays are where we meet. What happens in between is what makes it a community.

“The believers, in their love, mercy and kindness towards one another, are like one body: when one part of it hurts, the rest of the body rushes to it with sleeplessness and fever.”
The Prophet ﷺ, Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim

That’s the community we want. When one of us is stuck, burnt out, between jobs or going through something hard, the rest of us show up: with advice, an introduction, a meal or a du’a.

  • Group Qur’an khatm

Each member takes a juz, and together we complete the Qur’an, again and again.

  • Members’ dinner & halaqa

Once a month we sit together to eat, reflect and learn something about our deen.

  • Workshops & talks

Member-led sessions on everything from marketing to Qur’anic Arabic. More on those below.

  • A work buddy

Optional. Someone to check in with between Saturdays, so you keep going.

  • Member WhatsApp community

Invite-only. Questions, wins, job tips and du’as, in one place, all week long. We add each member personally.

04/Workshops

Learn from each other

Members teach members. Sessions are short, practical and open to everyone in the community, whatever your level. Got something to share? You can lead one.

05/Sisters

Sisters, from day one.

A space of their own, alongside the main Saturdays: sisters’ gatherings, female-led workshops, halaqas and retreats. Led by sisters from the very first Saturday, not added later.

  • Sisters’ Saturdays
  • Female-led workshops
  • Sisters’ halaqa
  • Sisters’ retreats

Sisters are always welcome at the main Saturdays too.

Help lead Amal Club.

We’re looking for a sister to lead the sisters’ side and help run Amal Club as part of its founding team, before the first Saturday. And for sisters who’d like to organise events, host, mentor or give female-led workshops alongside her.

06/Lead with us

Built by its members

Workshops, Saturdays, dinners and retreats only happen because someone steps up. We’re building a list of brothers and sisters who’d like to give, organise and host. No experience needed, just the intention.

  • Give a workshop
  • Organise events
  • Coordinate hosts
  • Host at my place or venue
  • Lead a halaqa or Qur’an circle
  • Mentor someone
  • …and more

Help run Amal Club

We’re looking for two people to run Amal Club alongside us, one for each role. It starts as volunteering, with the intention of becoming a part-time or full-time role, in shā’ Allāh, once the launch goes well.

  • Events, admin & finances

Venues, bookings, the calendar, payments and keeping the books clean.

  • Socials, marketing & growth

Instagram and LinkedIn, photos and stories, partnerships and getting the word out.

10/The vision

Saturdays are just the beginning

Bringing Muslim builders together to grow in craft and deen. Starting in Brussels, growing across Belgium and, in shā’ Allāh, throughout Europe.

We’re starting small, on purpose. Here’s where we’re heading, in sha Allah.

  1. Now

    Saturdays

Every other Saturday in Brussels. Where it all begins.

  2. Next

    A regular home

More days together, and a dedicated Amal room on set days with a partner co-working space: same desks, same prayer corner, every time.

  3. Later

    Our own space

A home base: desks, a prayer room, a kitchen and a door that’s always open.

  4. One day

    A builders’ house

A Muslim builders’ house, where we live, pray, learn and build under one roof.

11/FAQ

Good questions

Something else on your mind? Write to us at ismailseifeldin54@gmail.com.

What is the mission of Amal Club?

To make a space for awareness and raising consciousness: to align our worldview with Islam, to build with intention, to share knowledge, and to be constant reminders for each other on the straight path.

The Qur’an and Sunnah are the framework. Our work, our decisions and our relationships are where we try to live by it, together.

Read why it started →

Who is it for?

Muslims who build: founders, developers, designers, creatives and students who want to grow in their work and in their deen, in good company.

Prayer, Qur’an and reminders are part of the day. Expect a calm room, kind people and halal food.

Do I need to be Muslim?

No. Amal Club is Muslim-founded and Muslim-friendly, and it welcomes every builder who respects the space.

The day is shaped by Islam: prayer breaks, halal food, modest dress and the guidelines on how brothers and sisters share the space. If that sounds good to you, you’re welcome.

What does it cost?

A Day Pass is €15. Monthly membership is €35 a month and includes free entry to every Saturday and event, the member community, the monthly dinner and halaqa, and first access to retreats with a discount. Without a membership, each event is its ticket price.

The first 60 people on the waitlist get founding prices for life: €12 per Day Pass, or €25 a month. Joining the waitlist is free.

Do I need to be building a startup?

No. Any project, job or skill counts: your day job, a side project, your studies, a portfolio, learning to code or memorising Qur’an. If you want to grow, you’re in the right place.

How do founding prices work?

Join the waitlist below, that’s all. The first 60 people to join keep founding prices for life, on whichever they choose: a Day Pass for €12 instead of €15, or monthly membership for €25 instead of €35. There’s nothing to pay today, and you decide later.

Where is it?

In Brussels. We’re still finalising the space, and everyone on the waitlist hears first, with the exact address, before the first Saturday.

Is it open to sisters?

Yes, and warmly so. Sisters are full members of the community, with a space of their own being built by sisters. If something would make you more comfortable, tell us in the form and we’ll make it happen.

How do brothers and sisters share the space?

By the Qur’an and Sunnah. Separate seating and a sisters’ area, no seclusion, professional and purposeful conversation, mixed working groups only with modest dress and work-focused talk, same-gender mentoring, and fully separate lodging on retreats.

We wrote it all down, with the evidences, so everyone knows what to expect before they come.

Read our guidelines →

Who can join the workshops?

Everyone. Workshops are led by members who want to share what they know, and they’re open to anyone in the community, whatever your level. If there’s something you could teach, fill in the “Lead with us” form.

Are the retreats confirmed?

Not yet. They’re still in the works, so there are no dates yet. Register interest on any trip and you’ll be the first to hear when it’s confirmed. Founding members get first access and a discount.

What should I bring?

Your laptop, a charger, a mushaf or Qur’an app if you like, and one thing you’d like to get done that day.
